Management Guide
Arrival care, daily split-feeding, and structured supplementation programs. Post this guide prominently and follow precise timings to align hydration, digestion, and laying support.
7-Day Arrival Protocol
Timed water, feeding, lighting, and health checks for a newly placed flock
Before arrival
Flush water lines, test every nipple drinker, then mix VitMinPRO into the overhead tank.
Arrival to +3 hrs
Load birds into cages and give medicated water only. Keep feed troughs empty during this window.
+3 hrs
Start 100% Developer/Grower feed at the first-week rate of 80g per head per day.
First night
Keep lights on and check that birds are drinking, alert, and evenly spread across the cages.
Lights ON
Clean the tank, mix fresh VitMinPRO water, and keep lights on if the flock is still adjusting.
First Feed
Give the first 40% of the daily Developer/Grower ration and check that all rows are eating.
Midday Water Check
Check water temperature and flush warm line water if intake looks slow.
Lights OFF
Inspect droppings, breathing, crop fill, and birds that remain weak or isolated.
Lights ON
Mix fresh VitMinPRO water after rinsing the tank and lines.
First Feed
Feed the first 40% ration and check that feed intake is improving from Day 2.
Second Feed
Feed the remaining 60% ration and remove spoiled or wet feed from troughs.
Lights OFF
Confirm birds are settled enough to shift from stress recovery to gut support tomorrow.
Lights ON
Switch the tank to Immunomax water after flushing leftover VitMinPRO from the system.
First Feed
Feed the first 40% ration and watch for birds that are slow to eat.
Midday Water Check
Check droppings for watery manure and confirm the flock is drinking normally.
Second Feed
Feed the remaining 60% ration to support overnight digestion and recovery.
Lights ON
Mix fresh Immunomax water and confirm all nipple drinkers trigger cleanly.
First Feed
Feed the first 40% ration and compare intake against yesterday.
Midday Water Check
Flush warm lines if needed and inspect droppings for improvement.
Lights OFF
Flag any birds with poor appetite, severe wet droppings, swollen eyes, or respiratory noise.
Lights ON
Flush the tank, then mix Egg 1,000 water for the morning hydration window.
First Feed
Feed the first 40% ration only after birds have had time to drink.
Second Feed
Feed the remaining 60% ration and keep feed texture dry and even.
Lights OFF
Check body condition, activity, and whether the flock is ready for normal maintenance tomorrow.
Lights ON
Drain, rinse, and refill the tank with plain clean water only.
First Feed
Feed the first 40% ration and confirm normal appetite across all cage rows.
Midday Water Check
Check water flow and clear any clogged nipples before afternoon heat builds.
Lights OFF
Record flock condition and move into the regular daily supplement calendar the next morning.
Timing Anchor
From Day 2 onward, match lights, feeding, and lights-off to the Current Flock Guide above. Use the first feed for the 40% ration and the second feed for the remaining 60%.
Before loading birds into cages, flush the lines, confirm nipple drinkers work, and mix the day's product into the overhead tank.
Let the flock drink medicated water for 2 to 3 hours before feeding so dehydrated birds do not pack dry mash into empty crops.
Keep house lights on for the first 24 to 48 hours so birds can find water nipples and feed troughs in the new cage setup.
Feed 80 grams per head per day using 100% Developer/Grower feed. Hold Layer mash until the flock is settled.
Keep Premoxil and Sulpar QR in reserve. Use antibiotics only when clear illness signs appear, such as bloody droppings, swollen eyes, or severe rattling/coughing.
Daily Operations & Feeding Checklist
Follow precise timings every day
- Activate lighting sequence
- Thoroughly wash and clean waterers
Morning Supplement
Add Egg 1000 at 5g per 4L (1 gallon) of clean water
Do not distribute feed yet — prioritize water intake
- Follow the first-feed time from the current flock age guide
- Feed 40% of the total calculated daily ration
- Conduct 1st round of egg collection to prevent nesting cracks
- Check water temperature
- Flush warm water lines and refill to stimulate drinking
Afternoon Supplement
Vit Min Pro at 5g per 4L (1 gallon)
Empty morning remains, rinse, then mix fresh
- Critical window for nutrient absorption to support eggshell formation overnight
- Feed 60% of total daily ration as layer mash
- Conduct final rounds before night shutdown
- Perform final egg collection
- Visually inspect manure dropping boards for wet, abnormal, or discolored feces
The Science Behind Split-Feeding
Providing 60% of daily feed in the late afternoon guarantees that critical dietary calcium is fully available in the digestive tract overnight during peak shell calcification. Follow the age-based lighting and first-feed timing shown in the Current Flock Guide.

Integrated Sunday Flushing Schedule
4-week rotation — organic weeks 1–3, medical cleanup week 4
Dosage
1 Tablespoon per 1 Liter of water
Benefit
Natural acidification of the crop and gizzard. Eliminates pathogenic E. coli and Salmonella strains.

Bi-Monthly Deworming Protocol
Every 2 months2-day treatment — Ivermectin (Saturday) + Praziquantel (Sunday)
Dosage
Per product label — administer in morning drinking water
Method
In drinking water — replace with plain water after 4 hours
Benefit
Eliminates roundworms, threadworms, cecal worms, and external parasites (mites, lice) by disrupting parasite nerve and muscle function.
Dosage
Per product label — administer in morning drinking water or mixed into feed
Method
In drinking water or top-dressed on feed
Benefit
Targets tapeworms and flukes not covered by Ivermectin. Combined with Day 1, ensures broad-spectrum elimination of internal and external parasites.
Observe egg withdrawal period per product label — typically 7–14 days. Mark treated-cycle eggs for personal use only and halt commercial trade during this window.
Critical Medicine & Consumer Safety Warning
Because Week 4 utilizes chemical antibiotics (Sulpar QR, Primoxil, or Doximol), there is a strict Egg Withdrawal Period. Trace pharmaceutical elements may pass into the egg contents during this timeframe.
It is strongly recommended to mark Week 4 eggs for personal consumption only or completely halt commercial trade during these treatment windows to protect your local consumers from antibiotic residues.
